Alito Day 2: The Questioning

I'm back on Capitol Hill this morning, blogging the second day of Judge Alito's confirmation hearings. Yesterday was a great day at the RNC Bloggers Forum, with a spectacular array of guests, including Ken Mehlman, Fred Barnes, and the Architect himself Karl Rove. If you missed any of it, my write ups are linked below.

Today, we're hosted by the Senate Republican Conference and scheduled guests include Judiciary Committee members Senators Kyl and Cornyn as well as Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist.  We may also be joined for lunch by Senator Bob Dole.

We're currently stationed in the Environment and Public Works Committee Room, just a wing away from the confirmation hearing room.  Later today, we'll be in and out of the press gallery to observe and blog on Alito's questioning.

Stay tuned for what's sure to be another banner day (and feel free to submit any questions for the Senators by comment or e-mail).
