Bush-Hitler Likener Goes Skinhead

Geography Yikes (HT: Michelle Malkin)

America's foremost geography scholar has given himself an extreme makeover.

Bennish

From Jay Bennish's appearance on the Today Show:

Lauer: "The family here, the student's family, didn't go to the school board with this tape."

Bennish: "They never contacted me."

Lauer: "They shopped it around to conservative media outlets and finally released it to one and created an uproar. On the tape you can hear Sean Allen [the student in question] asking you questions that seem to be egging you on a little bit. Do you feel you were set up?"

Where in the world is Matt Lauer?  MSM Fantasyland.

You may be barking up the wrong blog, Ford. That being said, there are a few free online translation sites that usually work pretty well. I would try running a web search for "English German translation".

Jay Bennish instructs us on the urgency of school vouchers. Bennish is yet another example of the political indoctrination running rampant in public schools, schools that too often see their mission as overruling the basic values of parents. The First Amendment is not a license for teachers to indoctrinate, or otherwise opine beyond the scope of the curriculum and school policy. If teachers can't teach about 'controversial' issues without neglecting to present all major views fairly, then such issues need to be excised from the curriculum. Period. The pervasive politicization of public education by teachers like Bennish is just another reason why freedom of choice through measures such as school vouchers is essential to a free society. Live in the district. "Blue Ribbon" schools my butt! A few teachers are very good, but too many are mediocre or worse. (I used to teach back East; got out because my head hurt too much from being beat up by the admin and school board for doing right by the kids - who I sincerely miss and pray for.) Sent my son to a private high school after miserable experiences in middle school. The school district is huge, with 4000 +/- kids in the high schools. Little help if your kid has any problems - friend's son was beaten up on a regular basis; school said it must be his fault, maybe they should call a cop or leave. A special needs kid's parents had to sue to get the help the state mandates - attorney said he'd add then to the list of those who couldn't get the school administrators' attention. And I still have to pay taxes to support this (spit).
