The Strangest "Bulls & Bears" Ever

Bull_bear Ah, the Saturday morning Fox News business block.  The best time of the week.

If you're not familiar, the two hour market and business news and analysis marathon kicks off with a panel show called "Bulls & Bears" hosted by Brenda Buttner and featuring a handful of semi-rotating guests pontificating about the economy, the stock market, and individual stock picks.

One of today's guests is Lenny Dykstra (obviously).  A few minutes ago, while arguing the merits of investing in Intel, Lenny loudly explained that, "Intel got bitchslapped!"  Twice.  This was an argument in favor of investing in the company.

I've never seen a host go to commercial faster.*

For the record, Dykstra dislikes Katie Couric and predicts the Dow will retreat 10-20% before the World Series (a prediction attributed by a co-panelist to too many bean balls).

* Actually that's not entirely true.  About an hour earlier, the morning crew was interviewing a representative of Chronic Candy, makers of marijuana-flavored lollipops.  Apparently the on-air talent had been sampling their wares, because Kiran Chetry remarked, "Mine tasted kind of like dirt."  Julian Phillips was heard to respond, "I don't know - it tasted like the real thing to me..." [Immediate commercial]
