May Day NYC (Video)

Yesterday's May Day Boycott/Protest in New York was much as you might expect.  Demands for immediate and unconditional amnesty for all illegal immigrants, pleas to fight American imperialism, plenty of unrelated diatribes about Katrina, Iraq, and Iran, and occasional unison-chanted threats like, "No justice, no peace!"

I've compiled a little video montage from my visit to the pre-march rally in Union Square.  Within a certain radius of the central PA system, the audio came through as an unholy cacophony (in person, it was marginally less piercing, but my equipment was unequal to the task of taming it).  In these segments, I've dubbed in some traditional march music to suit the occasion.

Very impressive / enlightening footage for a proven blogger turned neophyte film-maker! You were really Daniel in the lions' den there. For a few moments I enjoyed wondering where you got all the extras (out of central casting?) for what appeared to be a most brilliant National Lampoon production of left-wing idiocy. Of course it's funny and sad (but not sympathetic) because it's all true. I hope HotAir has a link to this video!

Funny stuff. I didn't know George Washington ever flew a Puerto Rican flag. "Make me a citizen, down with the US!" I don't know how this helps the illegals.

Excellent footage, stuff the main stream Media didn't show us. They sure couldn't perform like that if they were in Mexico or PR. This country is primed for a civil war, people are fed up & unfortunately I believe we'll see one in my lifetime.

Every illegal should be yanked up..shipped back..everything they own here taken from them..sold at auction..sold off..to help pay for the cost of shipping them home.All businesses like Tyson Chicken should be forced to fired them..We break the law we go to jail..illegals break the law they get freedom

They work so hard for such low payment, get put down, and just plainly suffer so much and even now theyre out there fighting for the first time (well for so many).. They should be left here, they just need more motivation and be given more rights so they can start studying and do better. Rather then just start rebelling every friggin day and if not, with it on their minds.
