Weblog Awards Voting Bleg: Suitably Flip for Best Individual Blogger

The finalists in the 2007 Weblog Awards have just been announced and I'm delighted to report a clerical error in this blog's favor.

You may have noticed you've never seen an advertisement or a tip jar on this site.  I don't do it for the money, or the girls, or your unfailing, almost pathological hero worship.  (I do it mainly for the doctored time-stamp alibis that enable me to commit various nuisance crimes with impunity.)

But if you find yourself compelled to give something back, I'll gladly and gratefully receive your furious ballot stuffing.  The winner of the final round is solely decided by online voting, so let's channel Mayor Daley circa 1960 and run up the score.

The voting is supposed to kick off Thursday night and will continue for about a week, culminating in the Blog World & New Media Expo in Vegas on November 8th.  I believe you can legitimately vote once a day.  I'm honored to be listed among 9 fine bloggers from throughout (and from outside) the political spectrum, including no less than Glenn Reynolds himself, so we're going to need to load for bear if we're to poach this one.

I'll update with a link directly to the voting booth in question when it goes live, but it ought to be reachable within a click or two from the Weblog Awards front page.
